All of the musicians involved in this production come from old Hungarian gypsy families that can look back on centuries of venerable music tradition, and have spread that Hungarian gypsy music throughout the world. The generation on these recordings, however, has devoted itself to a great extent to jazz improvisation.   "Gypsy Colours" is our contribution toward linking these two worlds of music, which incidentally don't really lie that far apart from one another, so that they stand as one.
